Memorial Service at Sea Scattering of Ashes on Monterey Bay

Best time for Memorial services is mid morning to early afternoon (after the fog lifts and before the winds and seas get too high).  Permit from Monterey County Health Department or any California County Health Department is required for all scatterings.  Permits for disposition may be obtained at   Monterey County Health Department link or write or visit:

Basic Memorial Service                                             $250 motor to Lover's Point in Pacific Grove, scatter ashes at least 500 yards offshore and return (approximate time 60-75 minutes) 6 passenger maximum

Unattended (no passengers) Basic Memorial Service  $150 scattering of ashes at least 500 yards offshore at Lover's Point in Pacific Grove, no time/day requirement, mailed in by USPS

Unattended (no passengers) Basic Memorial Service  specific time/date                                                                   $200 scattering of ashes at least 500 offshore at Lover's Point in Pacific Grove, specific time and day requirement or drop off in-person

Extended Memorial Service                                                    $300 motor to  Point Pinos at the end of Monterey Penisula, scatter ashes at least 500 yards offshore and return (approximate time 90-120 minutes) 6 passenger maximum

Unattended (no passengers) Extended Memorial Service     $200 scattering of ashes at least 500 yards offshore at Point Pinos, no time/day requirement, mailed in by USPS

Memorial service to fit your special needs various locations, under sail or power, let us know your special requirements (2 hour minimum, 6 passenger maximum)

First 2 hours Memorial at Sea                                              $350 Any additional hour                                $120

Deposit is required for all memorial services. Cancellation policy for memorial services:  If a memorial service is canceled 48 hour prior to charter we will refund your deposit; within 24-48 hours we will charge 50 percent of the deposit, cancellation  on the of the day charter we shall charge 100 percent

6 passenger maximum, child is under 13 years old; no more than two children between 3-12 and no children under 3, no women past 5th month of pregnancy and no pets allowed.
